Logistar WMS Logistar LMS - Labor Management System

Logistar Labor Management solution supports the development of a comprehensive approach to Human Resource management in industrial, logistics or distribution processes.

Logistar Labor Management System: Human Resources management

Standard Setup

With the Logistar Labor Management System standard setup module, a company can precisely determine its production standards and link them directly to the tasks to be accomplished. Using historical averages and allowing for changes in the content of tasks (distance, weights and tools), Logistar Labor Management provides an organization with a clear picture of labor standards that match the reality of their operations. By defining standards in this manner the definition of the standard is directly linked to a productivity target and allows an organization to restructure its tasks based on the actual operation being tracked.

Workforce Planning

With the Workforce Planning module an organization can optimize the assignment of operators based on actual or planned workloads. This module allows planning work based on business processes, workload per process, and availability and skills of operators. Logistar Labor Management System automates the allocation of resources and offers a manual adjustment on the basis of visual alerts. This saves valuable time in the administrative processing of a company planning. Each manager has access to the data related to his/her area of responsibility, either for a specific process, or for the whole operation. Reporting and printing features allow a company to view plans and to efficiently communicate with its teams.

Individual and Collective Performance Monitoring

This module allows a company to set up its workforce Monitoring process on either an individual or team basis. It adapts to the company HR policies. The module provides production, performance and working time indicators. It enables a manager to identify the contribution of a team or an individual to an activity, as well as to target improvement or training plans. It can also monitor individual worked hours and ensures consistency with regulations and labor laws. The essential element of Logistar Labor Management System is its ability to establish the performance of an individual or a team according to the level of difficulty when carrying out tasks during the course of a day. A manager can, therefore, develop his/her performance “budget” using operationally feasible elements. This approach allows for a more accurate analysis and contributes to a good working climate.

Operating Skills Management

The skills of each operator are configured in Logistar Labor Management System: specialized capabilities, multi-skilled capabilities and level of expertise. For each activity and each operator, the module enables to define a learning curve that is used to scale the level of performance expected. In addition, managers can follow the indicators that validate the effectiveness of the training plans and the adequacy between the operator capabilities and the activity.
